The impact of the foundation measured through the R.O.S.I or Return on Social Investment

Durabilis is a foundation that tries to answer the following question: « What can I do for a better world? ». The 3P – PEOPLE – PLANET – PROFIT are their mission and philosophy. The foundation is currently active in the sector of water conditioning and distribution in Senegal, Kenya and Burkina Faso. The foundation also supports a project based on fruit and artisanal business based in Guatemala and other bio-carburants projects. Durabilis has implemented a communication tool towards its local partners in Africa and Latin America but also towards its teams and future investors.  

The KPI enables them to benchmark the different projects and to evaluate them towards the 3P. The information comes from surveys on the field and from the financial reporting. Durabilis used an innovative approach: they use KPI’s linked to more qualitative domains to justify their activities. Indicators like the positioning of projects towards the CO2 emissions, the human right respect, the return on investment on some projects,… were selected.
