The International Federation of basket-ball is the leading association for international basket-ball. The FIBA is an independent, non-profit organization that includes 213 national federations throughout the world.
The FIBA defines the official rules of the basket ball as well as all the specifications relative to the sports equipments and installations used during international and Olympic meetings. The FIBA supervises the nomination of international umpires, set rules on transfer markets and organizes all the international competitions with the help of its 5 geographical delegations: FIBA Africa, FIBA Asia, FIBA America, FIBA Europe and FIBA Oceania.
The FIBA Management Cockpit contains 65 indicators that help them, on one side to pilot their international activities, and on the other side to support the implementation of their strategic plan at all levels of the organization. (FIBA, FIBA zones and national Federations). An important selection of KPI’s for the measurement of the participants’ satisfaction during the event allows them to follow the concrete achievement of one of the major FIBA objectives.
