2.1. Organize and collect data

You would like to implement a structured database enabling the centralization of the necessary information for KPI’s visualization and analysis.

Cockpit Group can support you:

  • Implement decisional databases
  • Define the appropriate model (star model, OLAP cubes, datamarts, framework…)
  • Select levels of aggregation and estimate data sizing
  • Parameterize scheduler to automate data collection
  • Develop procedures to acquire external data via forms or flat files (XML, CSV,…): Cockpit lines
  • Optimize databases to reduce response time (ideally <3 sec)
  • Implement connectivity to data sources via web services or specific connectors
  • Ensure consistency and data validation
