2.1. Organize and collect data
You would like to implement a structured database enabling the centralization of the necessary information for KPI’s visualization and analysis.
Cockpit Group can support you:
- Implement decisional databases
- Define the appropriate model (star model, OLAP cubes, datamarts, framework…)
- Select levels of aggregation and estimate data sizing
- Parameterize scheduler to automate data collection
- Develop procedures to acquire external data via forms or flat files (XML, CSV,…): Cockpit lines
- Optimize databases to reduce response time (ideally <3 sec)
- Implement connectivity to data sources via web services or specific connectors
- Ensure consistency and data validation
